A Levels – not the be all and end all!

Congratulations to all those who received their A Level results yesterday. No matter how you did, you’ve still got so much time ahead of you to achieve lots!

Yesterday, Sir Richard Branson, one of Britain’s most successful entrepreneurs and whose daughter did a course with Ski le Gap, reassured students that grades are not the be all and end all.

On his blog he encouraged students to ‘get out in the world, travel, meet new people, enjoy experiences and try new things’ in order to find out what it is you want to do in life.

Take some time to digest your results and then decide what it is you want to do with your future. Listen to Sir Richard Branson and do things you will enjoy – explore the world, visit new places, experience new cultures, gain life experiences and above all have fun!

You can do all of this while building your CV – future employers will look favourably on all the above as long as you can substantiate your choices and make the most of your time. A gap year is the perfect opportunity to do this.
