Mont Tremblant Resort.
A trip to Canada should be a wish list item for any European skier or boarder, and Mont Tremblant brings world-class powder as close to home as possible.
Location
The resort is located in the Laurentian Mountains, just north-west of Montreal and around 300 miles from Canada’s east coast. Montreal, Ottawa and Quebec are short hops away, with Toronto and New York just over an hour by plane direct from Mont Tremblant airport.
The village
When you hit the bottom you can head straight into the pedestrianised village of Mont Tremblant situated at the base of the mountain.
Take a stroll through the idyllic snow-covered streets, explore the boutiques, bars, restaurants and evening entertainment, before heading back to the nearby Ski le Gap chalet.
Skiing stats
Sitting at 875 metres, the mountain itself offers an unrivalled view of the magnificent Laurentians.
Its ski area covers 305 hectares and includes 102 ski trails on 4 distinct slopes, including 49 extreme runs and 3 snow parks. Snowfall per year regularly exceeds 500cm, and with over 1,200 snow guns, there’s always fresh Canadian powder to play on.
Getting to the top is made easy with lifts able to carry almost 30,000 skiers and boarders per hour, and heading back down, the longest trail is Nansen at 6km.
Accommodation
and food
When it’s time to eat, sleep, chill or get together for activities, the Ski le Gap chalet is your home from home. Located just a short bus ride from the mountain base, it’s where we all live together, creating a family vibe that lasts your whole trip.
You can truly relax at the chalet, kicking back and going over another awesome day in a community of friends that welcomes you as your full self. When it’s time to eat, you can expect home-cooked meals 7 days a week, inspired by French-Canadian cuisine and served round our communal table.
Then, when the day is done, you can hit your twin bedrooms with a private bathroom for some well-earned rest, with single rooms available at an extra cost.
Mountain safety
Also on the mountain, Mont Tremblant’s own team of 100 ski patrollers ensure skier and boarder safety through regular safety checks, first aid services and by enforcing the Mountain Code.
The patrollers are certified yearly and prior to the start of every season they carry out a detailed mountain protection plan that ensures Mont Tremblant users are able to ski and board confidently in a safe environment.

It’s also the only resort we operate at, which means students get all of our elite instructors, all of the time. And off-piste you also get the full attention of the care team. When you see Mont Tremblant in the winter, you’ll see why we don’t need to be anywhere else.
